Wallaby wallets are made to be used and wallet services gives you a way to use them. Wallet services are capabilities you can easily provide within your own embedded wallet to any wallet holder. These services work cross chain with minimal development effort. Service offerings include:
Swaps: Allow a wallet holder to swap one on-chain asset for another
Stake: Allow a wallet holder to lockup assets in order to collect rewards on the network
Although the crypto ecosystem is fragmented, a user's wallet acts as the connecting tissue. We've leaned into a wallet at core approach to create a comprehensive platform.
Integrating wallaby means integrating more than just an embedded wallet. Wallet related services can be enabled via our administrative portal. After an admin enables the service, the APIs related to those services become available using the same API key for the core wallet module.
Once you have created wallets using our core wallet module, these wallets can directly access our services. What we mean with direct access is that we've chosen to consolidate wallet operations and the services the signature is tied to.
We've unified creating, signing, and sending onchain transactions into a single API call. This is different than other wallets where the wallet is solely responsible for signing and different than other service providers that have to wait for a signature to execute on the service.
For wallet holders, a lot of information goes into deciding whether to engage with a service. We make that information easily accessible for you to display to your wallet holders. Before a transaction occurs, you can inform a wallet holder whether a service requires KYC, has associated fees, has geographical or other relevant restrictions, or impacts their holdings in some other way. After the transaction is executed, you can keep them up to date on the status of the transaction and any resulting changes.
