What is Wallet Data?

Wallet data is read only data that is relevant to your wallet holders experience. Wallet data facilitates the services that a wallet holder would like to use their wallet for and keeps them informed about the state of their wallet and associated holdings.

What are the benefits of querying data with wallaby?

While Wallaby stores no PII data on behalf of wallet holders, all wallet holders have a randomly generated unique identifier from your system that you provided to us when signing up a wallet holder. By storing public keys and blockchain addresses, we can freely query the blockchain as needed to fetch transactions, balances, and other asset related data. With this model, Wallaby acts as a middleware to the blockchain giving you the ability to filter wallet holder data by the unique identifier from your system to analyze aggregate wallet activity.
